Town Meeting
Master Board Elect will hold "Town Meetings" after the January installation.

Schedule to be discussed at the Next PORI Board of Directors Meeting.

The next town meeting will be in the form of a Candidate Forum coordinated by PORI Board Member Jane Bachelor.
The Forum is scheduled for Tuesday, July 10 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the PGA Education Center. Please plan to attend so you can hear from the individuals who are running for the Master Board of the PGA Village Property Owners Association. Ballots will be mailed in July, with a special meeting on August 30 to count the ballots.

There were excellent presentations by representatives of Lawnwood hospital who are proposing the Trauma Tax and representatives of a group named the No Trauma Tax Committee. Many of those who attended were very impressed with the professionalism of moderator Jane Bachelor.

Next Town Meeting is Monday, June 4 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wanamaker Room. The major topic of discussion will be YES or NO to the Trauma Tax at the Special Election on June 26.

The February town meeting was very successful. Those in attendance asked numerous questions, and provided helpful input to the PORI Board of Directors. We are planning another meeting for May.

A Town Meeting is scheduled for PORI Members on Tuesday, February 6 from 10:00AM to 11:30 AM at the Wanamaker Room on Perfect Drive. Please bring your suggestions, questions, and comments. Help the PORI Board of Directors plan for the future.
